Clairton Community Day

We're excited to be part of Clairton Community Day tomorrow!

The Black and Gold City Goes Green will have a table where we'll be giving out free swag that your home and your wallet will really appreciate. (Special thanks to Duquesne Light for supplying the CFL light bulbs as part of their Watt Choices program!) Come say hi and learn about ways to green your home and find out what else our parent company, PennFuture, is up to these days.

We'll also have information and flyers for the 2015 Pittsburgh Solar Tour which is happening next Saturday, October 17. This annual self-guided tour features homes and businesses who have installed solar panels in the Western Pennsylvania region, and you can see for yourself that solar really works here! The solar tour is completely free but please register online at www.pghsolartour.com. You can also view the map of tour stops and download the guidebook on their website.

Clairton Community Day is from noon until 5 p.m. on Saturday, October 10, 2015 in the school parking lot. Stop by to pick up your free CFL light bulbs and be on your merry way to saving energy and money at home!
